Events Coordinator
The Campus Events Coordinator will take responsibility for coordinating events from concept through to delivery, ensuring events are well planned, professionally executed and aligned with campus priorities and College strategy.
Within the scope of the role and level of experience, the Campus Events Coordinator works collaboratively with campus staff, corporate marketing colleagues and external suppliers to deliver safe, engaging and well‑managed events that strengthen community connection and support enrolment activity.
This is a Full Time (Term Time) position, 8am - 4pm at our Logan Village Campus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Event Planning and Delivery
- Plan, organise, coordinate and execute marketing and community building events for the campus, both on site and off site.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines and run sheets to ensure effective delivery.
- Coordinate event logistics including venues, catering, equipment, staffing and supplier engagement.
- Provide on the day event coordination and troubleshooting to ensure events run smoothly.
Strategic Alignment and Governance
- Prepare business cases for proposed events, ensuring alignment with campus and College strategy.
- Undertake event risk assessments and documentation for approval through relevant risk and compliance processes.
- Ensure events comply with College policies, child safety requirements and work health and safety obligations.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the Campus Marketing Coordinator to support marketing objectives and event promotion.
- Provide event delivery support to the corporate Marketing and Enrolments Team for College led events hosted on campus.
- Liaise with teaching and support staff to coordinate contributions and participation in events.
Budget and Administration
- Operate within allocated budgets and approved timeframes.
- Track event expenditure and provide accurate budget updates as required.
- Maintain event documentation, records and post event feedback to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience coordinating events of similar scale and complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and deliver multiple events within tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
