Head of Mathematics - Reedy Creek Campus
This is a contract position for the 2026 school year with the potential to transition into a permanent role, beginning on the 15th of January 2026.
The Head of Mathematics provides strategic leadership of the Years 7–12 program, shaping a vision of excellence through authentic learning, innovation, and purpose. The role oversees curriculum, pedagogy, and staff development to ensure high standards and strong student outcomes.
As a leader, the Head of Mathematics inspires staff, fosters collaboration, and promotes professional growth. In a Christian school context, they model Christ-centred values and ensure programs are delivered with a biblical worldview, nurturing students’ spiritual, academic, and personal growth.
The Head of Department - Mathematics takes responsibility for the teaching and learning of Mathematics within the High School, and the professional development and care of the staff within the Department, working in close partnership with the Assistant Head of Department and teachers to ensure that the subject specific curriculum is fully realised.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a teacher in Queensland.
- Outstanding record as a classroom Mathematics teacher, preferably with experience in teaching up to Specialist Maths or equivalent.
- Proven capacity for curriculum leadership, assessment oversight, and staff development.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and its application in Mathematics.
- Experience in QCAA assessor roles, or other jurisdiction equivalent, will be viewed favourably.

- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
