Year 12 Compass Leadership Conference
From February 28, our Year 12 Executive Leadership team embarked on an inspiring five-day journey at the Compass Leadership Conference in Canberra. This event focused on Christian formation and Bible-based leadership development, offering our students an incredible opportunity to grow in their faith and leadership capabilities.
The conference featured a variety of thought-provoking sessions, challenging our leaders to reflect on their leadership style, deepen their biblical understanding, and explore effective ways to lead within our school community. Beyond the sessions, students enjoyed enriching excursions to key landmarks, including the Australian War Memorial, the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture, as well as Parliament House.
A standout experience for many was connecting with fellow student leaders from diverse schools across Australia. Hearing firsthand about the opportunities and challenges faced in different schooling contexts sparked valuable insights and strengthened their passion for servant leadership.
The conference also encouraged our students to delve deeper into their personal relationship with God and build a stronger understanding of His word. Our leadership team returned home inspired, equipped, and ready to bring fresh perspectives and renewed enthusiasm to their roles.
We are excited to see how they will apply their new knowledge and insights throughout their Year 12 leadership journey.
