Upper Primary Students getting Creative in Visual Arts
Our Year 3, 4, and 6 students have been exploring different art forms this term, drawing inspiration from renowned artists and creative traditions. Their work has sparked imagination, self-expression, and a celebration of creativity across the year levels.
Year 3 have been inspired by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and are designing their own unique artworks on calico bags.
Year 4 have been inspired by the vibrant artwork of Jimmy Pike and the words of Psalm 19:1–2, creating these stunning woven bowls that reflect both creativity and wonder.
Year 6 have been exploring the Manga art form, and using the skills they’ve developed throughout the term, they are now designing original Manga characters inspired by themselves and their friends.
