30 May - 01 June: QLD Indeterminate Volleyball Schools Cup
Congratulations to our Intermediate Girls team, who brought home the silver medal! It was a hard-fought tournament for our Intermediate Boys, who finished a strong 6th place in a tough division. A bright future lies ahead for both teams!
6 June - High School APS Season 1 Finals
We competed for an impressive 38 premierships across Football, Rugby, Tennis, Volleyball, Hockey and Netball.

11 June - Prep to Year 2 Athletics Carnival
The Prep to Year 2 Athletics Carnival was a fantastic showcase of energy, effort, and school spirit. Our youngest students gave it their all across a range of events, with Finney House narrowly taking out the overall win.
12 June - DNK Cup (Rugby), GT Trophy (Netball), GC Cup (Football)
A huge day of Primary Sport, with 12 teams representing our school across three major competitions. Our students competed with determination and pride at the DNK Cup (Rugby), GT Trophy (Netball), and GC Cup (Football), delivering some outstanding results. A big congratulations to all teams for their effort, sportsmanship, and for doing the school proud!

13 June - Open Girls Netball vs Marsden State High School
Our Open Girls Netball team faced off against the highly competitive Marsden State High School in a friendly match. It was a valuable hit-out, providing strong competition and a great opportunity to fine-tune combinations ahead of the upcoming Vicki Wilson State Tournament.
14 June - Big 6 Final
Big 6 Basketball Finals Wrap-Up:
In the final weeks of Term 2, our Senior and Sophomore Boys and Girls Basketball teams competed in the finals of the inaugural Big 6 Tournament. Facing Hillcrest Christian College in four highly competitive matchups, our teams came away with three impressive wins, with the Sophomore Boys narrowly missing out by just a few points. A fantastic effort from all teams!
About the Big 6 Tournament:
Launched this year, the Big 6 Basketball Competition features elite teams from six leading schools: King’s Christian College, Somerset College, Saint Stephen’s College, Citipointe Christian College, St James College, and Hillcrest Christian College. Spanning six weekends of high-intensity games, the competition has quickly established itself as a key part of the school basketball calendar, offering excellent preparation ahead of the APS season and CBSQ tournaments.
16 - 17 June: Primary School Athletics Carnival (Year 3-6)
Over two action-packed days, our Year 3–6 students showcased their energy, determination, and team spirit at the Athletics Carnival held at Runaway Bay Sports Centre. Whether on the track or in the field, every student gave their best effort and competed with pride. We are incredibly proud of their performances, sportsmanship, and the enthusiasm they brought to every event.
18 - 19 June: High School Athletics Carnival (Year 7-12)
After two exciting days of competition, which saw outstanding performances across all year levels. Congratulations to Raleigh House, who claimed the overall victory, completing the 2025 treble with wins in Cross Country, Swimming, and now Athletics. From record-breaking runs to incredible house spirit, it was a fantastic way to finish off the term.
25 June – Queensland All Schools Cross Country
A huge effort from our runners at the Queensland All Schools Cross Country. Congratulations to Adam, Maverick and Jedediah who claimed bronze in the 16 Boys relay. All other teams put in strong performances, finishing just outside the medals. Well done to everyone who took on the challenge of another wet and muddy course!
22 - 26 June: Open Netball Sydney Tour
Over the school holidays, our Open Girls Netball team travelled to Sydney for a four-game tour. The girls put in a strong showing, securing three impressive wins. Their only loss came in a hard-fought match against a talented Under-23s team. It was a valuable experience both on and off the court, and a great way to build momentum for the season ahead.
