The High School precinct was filled with all things merry and bright on Thursday, 10 October, as our High School students dressed in Christmas costumes and shared some early festive cheer, all to raise funds for King's Care Christmas Hamper Project. King's Care is the outreach of King's Church, and it helps many people every week of the year with food relief and vital services. At Christmas time, their beautiful food hampers are given to hundreds of struggling families across the Gold Coast. Our grand finale LIFE event for 2024 marked the last one ever for our Year 12s and included a Christmas treats competition, 'best-dressed' awards and a lunchtime BBQ fundraiser. At King's, we love opportunities to build community, bring joy to our students and help those less fortunate in our local area, and our Christmas-themed FUNdraiser achieved all three! We want to thank our High School LIFE team and our graduating Year 12 LIFE leaders, whose time and energy throughout the year has made our fundraising efforts possible. It’s amazing what the power of kindness can achieve!

Congratulations to our best-dressed winners:

  • Mrs Threlfo - The Grinch
  • Jada Craig - Christmas Tree Hair
  • Thierry Liddell - The Christmas Tradie
