Leap of Faith at Year 5 Camp

Pimpama

This year camp was amazing!

We went to Camp Goodenough for three days and participated in a series of activities. There was the Leap of faith, Crate stack, High ropes, obstacle course and team pursuit. Each activity presented a different challenge, from strength to mental ability that pushed us beyond our boundaries.

The Leap of faith required us to climb up a 6m, 8m, 12m ladder with a harness on, this demanded a huge amount of mental and physical strength. With some strong encouragement from our supportive teacher, we felt that we could push our boundaries and go higher.

A big highlight of camp for everyone was devotions. After a long, fun day at camp we would learn about how to build our trust with God and spread his word by reading the Bible. Lots of people were blessed to have the opportunity to be prayed for by our chaplains and teachers.

Going on Year 5 camp is a must!
