Transformative Journey: Reflections from our Bali Mission Trip 2023

We are thrilled to share with you the incredible journey that unfolded during our inaugural overseas mission trip from Pimpama to Denpasar, Bali, which took place in September 2023 with this video. With a team comprising 16 students and four dedicated staff, they embarked on an unforgettable adventure marked by service, compassion, and personal growth.

Their mission was clear: to extend hands, hearts, and voices to the community of Denpasar, Bali. Partnering with Bali Christian College and its associated organisations, including the Compassion Project, our students delved into a myriad of activities aimed at making a positive impact. From teaching English to leading chapel services, from heartfelt prayers to sharing the Word of God, our students actively engaged with the local community, fostering connections and spreading love.

For many of our students, this journey marked their first encounter with third-world poverty, offering them a profound insight into the realities faced by communities beyond their own borders. Witnessing the resilience, strength, and spirit of the Balinese people left an indelible impression on their hearts, sparking a newfound sense of empathy and solidarity.
